Jack Skirkanich
Design Associate, Eastern Office

Jack joined Tripp Davis and Associates in 2016 to assist with the opening of the Eastern office that focuses on projects in the New York Metropolitan area and beyond.  As part of the TDA on-site managing team, he works closely with Tripp to secure new projects and oversee current renovations, restorations and new designs.

Jack decided to switch to a career in golf course architecture after becoming a greens and grounds committee member at his club, Rumson Country Club, Rumson, New Jersey.  Jack was part of the committee that selected TDA in 2010 to restore Rumson following the Hurricane Sandy flood and tree damage.  A student of golf architecture, Jack enjoyed reading golf architecture books and studying the elements that make great golf courses stand the test of time.  His golf architecture passion turned into an internship with TDA from 2014-2016.  Jack was mentored by Tripp during the Rumson Master Plan process.

Before Jack's career path in golf, he was a co-founder of PrimeScout, an online recruiting platform for high school athletes seeking college scholarships.  He previously worked in the financial services industry for five years as the research manager for real estate and financial services at Coleman Research Group in New York City.

A 2005 graduate of Vanderbilt University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Jack played on the men's golf team all four years.  A scratch golfer, he competes in regional and national amateur tournaments.  Jack earned his Masters of Landscape Architecture at Rutgers University in 2016.  Jack, his wife Alyssa and their children, reside in New York City.
